Course Details

The Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) Course for Law Enforcement Officers is an essential training program that equips officers with the life-saving skills needed to manage casualties during high-threat incidents. Based on the principles of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), this course focuses on providing immediate medical care in hostile environments, covering bleeding control, airway management, chest injuries, and casualty evacuation. Participants will learn to apply tourniquets, hemostatic agents, chest seals, and other critical interventions while maintaining tactical awareness. Through a combination of classroom instruction and realistic scenario-based training, officers will gain the confidence and competence to effectively treat themselves, their partners, and civilians in dynamic and dangerous situations.

  • Airway management techniques and victim positioning
  • Victim movement and extraction techniques
  • Handover to Emergency Medical Services
  • Weapon manipulation and management while working
