CZC Defensive Pistol Scenario-Based Training
Course Details
Our 1-day CZC Defensive Pistol Scenario-Based course is a non-live fire program which prepares individuals to react or respond to armed threats. This course focuses on not just the application of tactics, techniques, and procedures to increase your chances of survival, but also focuses heavily on the application of tactical de-escalation techniques to avoid a deadly force encounter whenever possible.
This class is designed to enhance participants’ defensive handgun skills through realistic, stress-inducing scenarios without the use of live ammunition. This course focuses on developing critical decision-making, drawing from concealment, weapon manipulation, and tactical movement in simulated self-defense situations. Using tools like inert training pistols and interactive role-playing exercises, participants will practice assessing threats, engaging targets, and responding to high-pressure encounters safely. Emphasizing mindset, situational awareness, and effective use of cover, this class provides valuable training for law enforcement, security professionals, and responsible gun owners looking to improve their defensive capabilities without the need for a live-fire environment.
If you are new to pistol shooting, we recommend you take our Pistol Fundamentals I, II, and III courses first to become familiar with pistol manipulation and operation.
